From the day it was founded, the operations of Miassine Foundation have involved training children from orphanages and care centers of Armenia in different job skills after they left those facilities. The fact is that after leaving Armenian Care Centers the children receive no assistance from the government or any other organization. Therefore, integrating into society and finding jobs have become a huge challenge for those young men and women. Because of unemployment many young men leave for Russia in search of work. As for young women, they often get married to have a roof over their heads.
In 2016 with Miassine Charitable Foundation’s initiative a social Bakery was established in Proshyan village. The main purpose of this project is to assist the above-mentioned group of young people by training and providing them employment opportunities. To learn more…
